English: Down gypsum empties at Settle Junction. View southward on the ex-Midland main line, Leeds - Skipton - Hellifield - Carlisle/Morecambe. The Class F train is returning empties to the mines near Kirkby Stephen on the Settle - Carlisle line, headed by Stanier 8F 2-8-0 No. 48758 (built at Doncaster 12/45 and ran on the LNER as O6 No. 3153 (later 3553) until acquired by the LMSR in 9/47, being withdrawn in 12/67. |
