English: Grand Army of the Republic Department Commander C.H. Haskins (right), with Assistant Adjutant A.C. Shafer, at the desk, with a pen, who have opened departmental headquarters in the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce building (June 1917). The Department HQ had been in San Francisco for the preceding 25 years. To be used at Austin Conrad Shafer.
