Description

The village of Theur sits at the confluence of three major regional rivers—Mula, Mutha & Bhima. One of the stories I liked says that Brahma, once felt unease in his mind and wasn’t able to calm down. To still his mind he called upon Lord Ganesh. The place where Brahma achieved the quietude he was looking for is known as the Sthavar region or as Theur.

Cintamani is the wishfulfilling jewel that is said to be in Ganesha's neck. This Ganesha is believed to fullfill all desires.
