English: A photographic portrait of Sir John Winfield Bonser (24 October 1847 – 9 December 1914), a British barrister of Lincoln's Inn, colonial lawyer, judge and Privy Councillor. He served as Attorney-General of the Straits Settlements (1883–1893), Chief Justice of the Straits Settlements (1893), and Chief Justice of Ceylon (1893–1902). After being appointed a Privy Councillor in 1901, from 1902 he sat as a member of the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council.
