Summary

Description
English: Roger Puta took this photo near or in Pinole, CA.

The Southern Pacific ran two passenger specials from San Jose to Sacramento and return on the weekend of April 27 and 28, 1985. One on each day. On Sunday 6051 remained in Sacramento to become an artifact at the California State Railroad Museum. I'm pretty sure Roger shot the Saturday morning train to Sacramento. He put no captions on these slides. Some of the locations have been positively identified by landmarks. A few are a little soft.
The power was E9A 6051 and commuter SDP45s 3201 and 3207.
