Summary

Description
English: The Squadron under the command of Sir J Brisbane attacking Fort Maurigio. From a sketch by Sir James Brisbane. A British naval bombardment on April 11th 1814 of the French Port Maurigo, close to Monaco in the Mediterranean. The ships are HMS Aigle, HMS Alcmene, and HMS Pembroke, of which Brisbane was Captain. Port Maurigo is in modern day Imperia, Italy, in the Gulf of Genoa.
