English: Aerial photograph of the wreckage of Standard Air Lines Flight 897R (visible in the upper center portion of the image). The photo was made from an altitude of less than 1000 feet (300 m) and shows the torn hulk of the plane lying on a hillside in the Santa Susana Mountains while rescue parties make their way to the scene. The plane was bound for Lockheed Air Terminal at Burbank when the crash occurred.
