Description Statue of Hughie Edwards in Fremantle, Western Australia. The artist is Andrew Kay. It was commissioned in 2002. The stone aeronautical-form behind the statue is afixed with a plaque detailing his war record, honours, and his appointment as Govenor of Western Australia. The motto "w:per ardua ad astra" ends the detail of the subject.
