Summary

Description Display of German Carnival characters in the Faschenachtsmuseum in Buchen (Neckar-Odenwald-Kreis, Baden-Württemberg), Germany; this is the Strohbär (straw bear) costume from Buchen among several Huddelbätz, with pointed hats and white collars. Costumed in strips of coloured rags or ribbons, they wear small bells and make loud noises to drive out evil spirits.
