Summary

Description
English: Fruit bodies of the fungus Suillus decipiens,, (Berk. & Curt.) Peck. Photographed in Big Thicket, Tyler Co., Texas, USA. "Notes: These were fairly common in the pine areas and match up pretty good with the descriptions. the caps were under 5cm across, dry, and with appressed scales. The spore print was brown to yellow brown and the pores large and irregular. The problem is that the spores seemed to be about the right shape, my measurements were smaller than the reported 9-12 X 3.5-5 microns. They seemed more in the range of 8 X 3 microns.??"
