Description
English: Sulawesi Canal Routes;
  • 2011 Route proposed by Dr Hasanuddin Atjo, Head of the Marine and Fisheries Service of Central Sulawesi. According to him, There are two possible alternatives to the canal along this route:
    • The first is a 28-kilometre-long and 200-metre-wide route with a mountain height of 70 metres, which will remove two million cubic metres of material.
    • The second alternative is a canal 18.5 kilometres long, 200 metres wide and 450 metres high with three million cubic metres of material to be excavated.
