DescriptionSundial at Cumbernauld House - geograph.org.uk - 1573063.jpg
English: Sundial at Cumbernauld House Around the back of Cumbernauld House is this fine, early eighteenth century sundial.
There are various different kinds of sundial and this one is of the "obelisk" type.
The sundial was originally situated around the front of the house, in the rose-garden, however it was moved to its existing location when that area was turned into a carpark.
