Deutsch: Ansicht des Tages der Deutschen Einheit in Mödlareuth 2023. Vor Ort waren CSU, AfD, Bündnis C, SPD, Bündnis 90/Die Grünen, das Aktionsbündnis "Mödlareuth grenzenlos bunt" und weitere. Vor Ort war sehr viel los, die Zufahrtsstraßen zeigten lange Autoreihen und auch kilometerweit im Umland waren viele parkende Autos. Sowohl das Freilichtmuseum, als auch beim Stand der AfD und bei anderen Parteien war reger Betrieb, bei der AfD waren jedoch außerordentlich viele Menschen. Im Großen und Ganzen war es friedlich, aber es gab auch verbale Auseinandersetzungen. Der Einsatzleiter der thüringischen Polizei schätzt die Teilnehmerzahl auf 6000-7000 am Höhepunkt, was etwa 12000-15000 % im Verhältnis zur Anzahl der Einwohner Mödlareuths entspricht (ca. 40-50 Einwohner). Die Stände der CSU und AfD waren auf thüringischer Seite, die anderen auf bayerischer. Zentrales Thema war die bayerische Landtagswahl. Die AfD war sehr laut und es wurde in spalterischen Tönen gesprochen. Ursprünglich war geplant, dass Markus Söder und Alice Weidel nach Mödlareuth kommen, jedoch sagte Markus Söder ab und wurde durch CSU-Landesgruppenchef Alexander Dobrindt vertreten. Alice Weidel wurde in Polizeigewahrsam an einen unbekannten Ort in Oberfranken gebracht, weil ein Anschlag auf sie geplant war, wie ihre Specherin mitteilte. Weidel meldete sich mit Videobotschaft zu Wort. Viele sind ursprünglich ihretwegen angereist. Von Seiten der SPD war Kevin Kühnert vor Ort, der Generalsekretär der SPD. Einige an einem Stand beim Demokratiebündnis erfuhren Lob und sachliche Gespräche, aber es gab auch Beleidigungen und gar eine Gewaltandrohung, die der zuständigen Versammlungsleiterin gemeldet wurde. Beim Demokratiebündnis wurden Aktionen zur Bildung in Demokratie angeboten (Grundgesetz, Menschenrechte, etc.). So waren Angebote des Landkreis Hof und des DGB vor Ort. Im Gesamten war es relativ friedlich, höchstens gab es kleinere Probleme, jedoch war die Stimmung teils angespannt und die gesellschaftliche Spaltung war mehr als deutlich. Hier sieht man Obrbürgermeisterin Eva Döhla.

On site, there was a lot going on, the access roads showed long rows of cars and also for kilometers in the surrounding area there were many parked cars. Both the open-air museum, as well as at the stand of the AfD and other parties was busy, but at the AfD were extraordinarily many people. On the whole, it was peaceful, but there were also verbal clashes. The head of operations of the Thuringian police estimated the number of participants at 6000-7000 at the peak, which is about 12000-15000% in relation to the number of inhabitants of Mödlareuth (about 40-50 inhabitants). The stands of the CSU and AfD were on the Thuringian side, the others on the Bavarian side. The central topic was the Bavarian state election. The AfD was very loud and divisive tones were used. It was originally planned that Markus Söder and Alice Weidel would come to Mödlareuth, but Markus Söder canceled and was represented by CSU state group leader Alexander Dobrindt. Alice Weidel was taken into police custody to an unknown location in Upper Franconia because an attack on her was planned, according to her spokeswoman. Weidel spoke out in a video message. Many originally traveled because of her. On the part of the SPD, Kevin Kühnert was there, the secretary general of the SPD. Some at a stand at the Democracy Alliance experienced praise and objective discussions, but there were also insults and even a threat of violence, which was reported to the responsible assembly leader. At the Democracy Alliance, actions were offered for education in democracy (Basic Law, human rights, etc.). Thus, offers of the district of Hof and the DGB were on site.
