Sir John Howard III (d.1436) married secondly Alice Tendring, daughter and heiress of Sir William Tendring of Tendring Hall in the parish of Stoke-by-Nayland in Suffolk (grandparents of w:John Howard, 1st Duke of Norfolk (c.1425-1485)).
