meaning:

Baalpilles (probably the name of the owner)
Yaton (personal name or verb meaning "gave")

Notes Production of such Phoenician amphorae appears to have taken place on Cyprus, but finds at shipwrecks sites show that they were widely dispersed thoughout the eastern Mediterranean.
