Summary

Description
English: The Beacon, Cublington. The Beacon is a motte (castle mound) to the west of the village of Cublington. (see also 465384).

It is the most noticeable of a group of earthworks betraying the erstwhile existence of a Mediæval village (see 465390)

Cublington has its own interesting website at www.cublington.com with some good old photos etc.
