The Commander of the British 2nd Army, Lieutenant General Sir Miles Dempsey, pointing out a section of the front to the Prime Minister, the Rt Hon Winston Churchill, MP. Also in the picture are the Commander of the 2nd Canadian Corps, Lieutenant General G G Simonds (left) and the Commander of the 21st Army Group General Sir Bernard Montgomery (right).
