Description
English: 'The Weigh House' is a building constructed in Southampton in the early 13th century. It was thought to house the town weigh beam, which was used to weigh wool and other goods before sale. In the French raid of 1338, the weigh beam and weights were stolen. The building was gutted by bombing during World War Two.
