Summary

Description

Thin Lizzie 2016 live on stage at Ramblin' Man Fair in Mote Park, Maidstone. The line up for this show was Ricky Warwick - lead vocals, acoustic guitar, Scott Gorham - guitar, Damon Johnson - guitar Tom Hamilton - bass guitar (Aerosmith), Scott Travis - drums, Darren Wharton - keyboards. They were joined for 4 songs by Midge Ure (Ultravox) who had toured with Lizzie on a 1979 US tour.

The set was a tribute to Phil Lynott 30 years to the day after his death from alcohol poisoning and included Jailbreak, Boys are Back in Town, Thunder & Lightning, Dancing in the Moonlight, Rosalie, Cowboy Song, Chinatown, Killer on the Loose and a great crowd singalong of Whiskey in the Jar. Lizzie were second on the bill, but blew Whitesnake off the stage, as these guys can still cut it whereas Coverdale & co certainly cannot.
