British History Online. The image was originally taken from The House of William Burges ARA, edited by R. P. Pullan (London, 1875-1885) published in 1886. Pullan was the brother-in-law of the master architect of Tower House, William Burges and inherited the house upon his death in 1881. Pullan died in 1886. This is plate 85b; according to the list of plates in Survey of London: volume 37: Northern Kensington, "85–89 Tower House, Melbury Road. Photographs of c. 1885 in possession of G.L.C.". photo
