Summary

Description
English: This Gothic Rampant Lion graphic was designed by Australian graphic artist (and club historian) David Heinrich in 2021 for the South Gawler Football Club Inc. It is an update of the traditional club emblem, first designed by John Gleeson (originally based on his family's Irish coat of arms) in 1955, and later adapted again during the early 1970s (most likely derived from German beer labels). Historically, this typemark has become the offical monicker of the South Gawler Football Club, nicknamed the "Lions".
