Summary

Description
English: Millions of people lost their lives during India's partition ie division of Punjab into East and West Punjab in 1947. Much more numbers were became homeless. Properties were destroyed. Riots started much earlier than 1947 on decision on boundary demarcation. houses were attacked, women were raped and murdered. Mahatma Gandhi's radio message is also written in the painting. Trilok Singh Chitarkar preapared this painting in 1947. Jotinder Singh, Chitralok, Patiala
