Description
English: Tubular spout, jue. 18th century BC jue, a chinese bronze tripod goblet used to serve wine, usually for ritual purposes. 18th century BC would date it to the mythic Late Xia Dynasty (Xia : 2070 to 1600 BCE) or en:Erlitou culture. Shanghai Museum.
Français : Un jue du 18ème siècle avant JC, ce gobelet en bronze à trois pieds ou plutôt cette coupe à libation jiao munie d'un bec était utilisé pour servir le vin, généralement lors de rituels. Le 18ème siècle daterait ce jue de la période de la fin de la dynastie mythique Xia ( Xia : -2070 à -1600). Les pieds factices ne restituent qu'imparfaitement la forme initiale.
