Summary

Description The U.S. Navy high-speed minesweeper USS Hambleton (DMS-20) at sea. Hambleton arrived at the Boston Navy Yard, Massachusetts (USA), on 8 November 1944, where the destroyer was converted into a high-speed minesweeper and redesignated DMS-20 (from DD-455) on 15 November.
