Description
English: The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Philippine Sea (CV-47), the destroyer USS Barton (DD-722) and the battleship USS Iowa (BB-61) operating in the Sea of Japan, off Korea, during replenishment operations on 1 July 1952. Philippine Sea, with assigned Carrier Air Group 11 (CVG-11), was deployed to the Western Pacific and Korea from 31 December 1951 to 8 August 1952.
