DescriptionUniversity of Edinburgh Wikipedia editathon for International Women's Day 2016 - Art and Feminism 04.jpg
English: To mark International Women's Day on 8th March 2016, the University of Edinburgh held a Wikipedia editathon to celebrate notable females; particularly women in the Arts.
There were a number of notable female artists whose pages on Wikipedia needed created or improved. Following the successful editathons held first at Modern One and at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery, this event carried on creating and improving articles relating to those women featured in the Modern Scottish Women exhibition as part of the Art+Feminism series.
