Description
English: Urn holder of the miller Publius Nonius Zethus, found in Ostia Antica, now in the Museum of the Vatican. The Urn holder contains 8 slots for urns, with the remains of one urn still in place. The front shows milling operations on the left and the tools of a baker on the right. From the 1st century AD. Closeup of left front, the animal is an ass.
