Description
English: Valley of the Tombs, 1st century AD. Wadi al-Qubur. A number of large-scale funerary monuments. Some towers in this ancient 2000 year old landscape were blown up using explosives by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant in 2015. Palmyra, Tadmor, Syria.
