Před budovou na obrázku stála za druhé světové války dnes již zničená továrna na výrobu těžké vody pro německý jaderný program, která se stala terčem spojenecké sabotážní Operace Telemark. Deutsch: Wasserkraftwerk Vemork, Norwegen English: Vemork Hydroelectric Plant as it looks today. The picture shows the building lying behind the Norsk Hydro hydrogen production plant (now demolished). In the (now) demolished building, a Special Operations Executive (SOE) Team in 1941 (Operation GUNNERSIDE) blew up heavy water production equipment in order to sabotage the German efforts towards an Atomic Bomb.
