English: Vencejo (captured 1797) [alternative spelling: Vencejo]; Port Mahon (captured1798)

Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan, sheer lines with inboard detail and longitudinal half-breadth for Port Mahon (captured 1798), an 18-gun brig sloop found building at Port Mahon when the port was taken. The plan also relates to Vencejo (captured 1799), a captured Spanish 18-gun brig sloop. There are some differences in gunwale heights between the two brigs. The plan is signed by Robinson Kittoe as 'acting Storekeeper 1798' at Mahon.

Notes 'The Monthy Magazine', 1 January 1807 (p.597) notes the marriage of Robinson Kittoe esq of the Royal Dockyard, Deptford, to Miss Harriet Dominicus (presumably within previous month). Kittoe also noted as Clerk of the Cheque at Woolwich and for a patent of 13 March 1813 for a double-coned revolving axle for carriages. Is buried at East Farleigh, Kent: died aged 57, 23 Feb 1827. TBC if this is the same man who was Graves's Secretary at Battle of Copenhagen [PvdM 4/15]
