Description
English: Vishrambag Wada palace, built by Bajirao Peshwa II in between 1803-1809, is a beautiful example of exquisit wooden carvery. Situated on Thorale Bajirao Road in the down town Pune, it currently houses a Government Library and a post Office. Recently in February, 2008 it is renovated to house a museum of Maratha History as well.
मराठी: विश्रामबाग वाडा हा दुसरे बाजीराव पेशवे यांनी इ.स. १८०३-१८०९ दरम्यान बांधलेला पुण्यातील वाडा मराठा स्थापत्यशैलीसाठी नावाजलेला मानला जातो. वाड्यात सध्या एक शासकीय ग्रंथालय व टपाल कार्यालय आहे. नुकतेच फेब्रुवारी इ.स. २००३ मध्ये याचे नूतनीकरण करण्यात येऊन, येथे मराठ्यांच्या इतिहासाबद्दल एक संग्रहालय उभारण्यात आले आहे.
