English: AWM caption : WILLIAMTOWN, NSW. C 1943. VULTEE VENGEANCE MKIV TWO- SEAT GENERAL PURPOSE DIVE- BOMBER AIRCRAFT A27-518. A TOTAL OF THREE HUNDRED AND TWENTY- TWO OF VARIOUS MARKS OF THIS TYPE OF AIRCRAFT WERE ON THE RAAF INVENTORY DURING WORLD WAR II AND WERE OPERATED BY NOS 12, 21, 23 AND 24 SQUADRONS AS WELL AS BY SEVERAL COMMUNICATION UNITS.
