Description
English: Photograph of view looking along New York City's Fifth Avenue, showing the W. H. Vanderbilt house (1870–1881), closest, and the W. K. Vanderbilt house, farther away. The W. H. Vanderbilt house was designed by Herter Brothers and Charles Atwood, architects. The furthest away home (660 Fifth Avenue) was designed by Richard Morris Hunt. Both homes have been demolished.
