Description One of the huge Krupp siege mortars used with such telling effect by the Germans in destroying the enemies fortifications and in the bombardment of cities on the line of the Kaiser's forces. These monster guns are considered Germany's most powerful asset, and the Krupp works at Essen are being pushed night and day to their utmost capacity with its 46,000 men constantly employed
