Chłodna Art Nouveau building. Arch. Joseph Czerwinski and Wenceslas Heppen. 1912-13. During World War II, it was in the Warsaw ghetto, near the famous wooden footbridge linking small and large ghetto built in January 1942. On the 1st floor lived the chairman of the Warsaw Judenrat, Adam Czerniakow until his suicide. Tenement during the Warsaw Uprising was only slightly damaged and has been renovated in 2007
