Description
English: Granite water fountain sculpture features, in black granite, a reverse profile of William Lloyd Garrison, and is surrounded by his quote: "Enslave the liberty of but one human being and the liberties of the world are put in peril". Project artist, Ross Miller. Public water feature dedicated to William Lloyd Garrison (1805-1879), a local resident, respected 19th Century writer, abolitionist and activist. Designed with a user-activated water control mechanism, stacked sections cut and carved from multi-color layers of granite, with a 13-nozzle machined aluminum top piece.
