English: 040723-N-8295E-016 Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, July 23, 2004 - Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz, left, and Commander, Cruiser Destroyer Group One, Rear Adm. Robert Moeller, wait on the flight deck of USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) for the arrival of Former First Lady Nancy Reagan. The Navy's newest and most technologically advanced aircraft carrier is completing a two-month transit from Norfolk, Va. Homeporting celebrations included various dignitaries like the former First Lady, members of Congress, state officials and celebrities. The ship, commanded by Capt. James A. Symonds, was commissioned in July 2003.
