DescriptionWorld War II Memorial - geograph.org.uk - 752320.jpg
English: World War II Memorial This memorial, which has no names on it, states in English that "Our street lights were installed as a memorial to the men of this district who made the supreme sacrifice in the 1939-45 war. The Welsh, above, slightly more flowery in tone, states "The street lights of this district have been lit in memory of the heroes who strove to keep the lights of civilisation aflame and who are now in the realm of the eternal daylight". The word "Rhyfel" is Welsh for "war".
