English: So-called "Zion" (tabernacle) for holy bread. Rusian Orthodox Church. 19th century copy of 1486 metalware, made for Dormition Cathedral, Moscow Kremlin.
Русский: Большой Сион Московского успенского собра 1486 года. "В лето 694 сделан бысть си Иерусалим повелением благоверного и Христолюбивого великого князя ивана васильевича господаря всея руси в 25 лето господарьства его в церков успения чистыя и ко гробу чудотворца Петра на Москве".
Россия, последняя четверть 19 века. Медный сплав, золочение, чернь. Гальванокопия Сиона Успенского собора Московского Кремля, по преданию, уцелевшего от рук воров, ограбивших Патриаршую ризницу. Москва,1486 г.; нижний ярус и ажурные пластины с пророками – Западная Европа (?), XII в. Серебро Чеканка, резьба, чернь, золочение Высота 94 см. Диаметр 44 см. Высота фигур апостолов 27 см. Большой сион - одна из двух дарохранительниц, заказанных Иваном III в 1486 году для Московского Успенского собора, собран из разновременных деталей. Его нижняя часть в форме чеканной ротонды, под полукруглыми арками которой помещены двенадцать горельефных фигур апостолов, выполнена, скорее всего, западноевропейским мастером во второй половине XII века. Московским ювелирам, переделавшим сион, согласно имеющейся на нем надписи, в 1486 году, принадлежит оформление его верхней части с луковичной главкой на барабане. |
