I think the rebels have taken Gaddafi's Palace, according to the BBC

"The NTC have also captured one of Col Gaddafi's lavish residences in Sirte. Photographs showed the former rebels standing on a four-poster bed as they searched a room in the palace, built by the colonel during his 42 years in power."

I did a google search and found this article, i believe this is where he got the quote http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/mobile/world-africa-15232870?mx=CQAQTVTTNVMSSUDDHC&session=e0d5f172-ce10-40b6-9416-e818478f1de1&tagid= — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.3.139.244 (talk) 20:08, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I tried to post the link, but it wouldn't let me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.41.55.112 (talk) 23:52, 10 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

remaining districts[edit]

According to Sky News only Al Shabiyah and al Dollar neighbourhoods remain under pro-G control. Doest it mean that whole shoreline is under NTC control? EllsworthSK (talk) 20:44, 11 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The map should be updated to reflect the events of 12 October. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.55.174.114 (talk) 12:58, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Border[edit]

Why does the edge of the map sortof fade to green? 76.117.247.55 (talk) 13:38, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just a wikimedia bug, ignore it. --EllsworthSK (talk) 13:52, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How to Edit?[edit]

How do you edit the map? I can't find a link to an edit page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 143.254.222.156 (talk) 16:32, 12 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Accuracy?[edit]

Every source I've read says Number Two and Al Dollar are under Gaddafist control, yet this map depicts most of Al Dollar under NTC control and North District under Gaddafist control. -Kudzu1 (talk) 17:21, 18 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Looks to me like District 2 and Al Dollar more fade into NTC territory than anything else. -48Lugur (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 00:19, 19 October 2011 (UTC).[reply]

Loyalist Counterattack[edit]

Shouldn't the map be changed to reflect this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.187.236.187 (talk) 04:27, 19 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Time to make the updates[edit]

If I could make this map look like the Tripoli and Misrata battle maps, with the lines of control and dates of advances, I would. Unfortunately, I'm not that good at Inkscape yet. Could somebody else work their magic on this image? -Kudzu1 (talk) 21:40, 20 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I can do it if you want. But please give me time... --Ave César Filito (talk) 19:23, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That would be great. Thanks! -Kudzu1 (talk) 20:45, 22 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
