I feel that the color on this image is a bit "off", too yellowish and reddish, so it doesn't really show how variable this shell is. Take a look at this image of the same species [1] and this image [2]. Thanks, Invertzoo (talk) 00:36, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, the highlights do seem a bit warm, now that I look at it. But as the collector of said shells, they aren't as bright/saturated as your first image. Do you want to take a crack at cooling off the white balance? deBivort 00:51, 2 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
If you have the actual shells for comparison, then I think you would certainly be best qualified to adjust the color balance. Plus I am not very expert with Photoshop. Any chance that you could have a go at tweaking it? Invertzoo (talk) 03:45, 27 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
