why is there no description for the variables r and p?
Yoepp (talk) 14:28, 15 March 2010 (UTC) The red line representing the position vector "r" should originate from the ECEF origin. It currently originates from a point along the red line from the origin to point "p". Also, it would be helpful if the diagram showed that the "Y" axis intersects the equator on the +90 degree meridian.
Image confuses the issue.[edit]
ECEF is a rectangular cartesian coordinate system, i.e. only the x, y, and z belong to it. Lambda, Phi, r and p should all be removed (even if r was correct). Chuckage (talk) 20:55, 17 March 2011 (UTC)chuckage
