e=mc2 is nothing but a simple formula relating mass and energy
we can understand in different ways 1. if a body is moving with a speed of light then its whole mass is converted into energy 2. during any formation of mass there is always some release of energy which gives stability this release of energy is what we call equals to mc2
E equals m multiplied by c squared[edit]
