the map is completely INCORRECT.The Huns have never been in the North-Easter part of Europe. And where the heck are Baltic tribes ?

I agree, perhaps the Franks occupied a larger territory than that?

I agree, at least about Huns. avellano —Preceding comment was added at 08:12, 3 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I really hope someone with image editing skills comes along and makes this map correct. The territory that the Huns conquered was very different than the territory the Huns ruled over. Their "Empire" should not have formal boundaries like there are for the Roman Empire(s). The same should be said of the other tribes that are listed and the very many that are not listed. The Franks ruled over a larger area than this. Astonishingly, the only part of this map that has the Franks is actually the part of the Western Roman Empire that the Salian Franks ruled over...meaning it should be blue. I have no problem with these simpler maps made from Paint, but please make them accurately. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.127.8.127 (talk) 04:15, 27 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Marking Norway as Norse doesn't feel right either: "Norse is an adjective relating things to ancient Scandinavia, that is Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Iceland during the early Middle-Ages (the period of the Vikings)." --84.217.227.88 (talk) 08:14, 11 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Swedes" and "Danes" came to existence about 600 years later. Also, their (AND the Norwegians') ancestors could be called "norse". --83.251.126.237 (talk) 18:09, 7 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Should be deleted[edit]

This is one of the worst maps I've seen on Wikipedia, it should be deleted. Woefully inaccurate and full of problems. —DIY Editor (talk) 02:50, 24 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Completely agree. The map depicts some kind of "Slavs" in lands of Meshchera, Merya and Mordva, while it has been proven that the origin of Slavs is Carpathians. According to the map the origin of all Slavs is Muscovy and land of Nenets. Aleksandr Grigoryev (talk) 12:47, 21 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
