Why no improvement?[edit]

Why was my upload of a less blurry colour reproduction reverted? Why are we using an inferior reproduction of this when a better version is available? I assume it is not censorship! Do I really have to create a new file for every image improvement? I would do it forthwith, and change all the links in Wikipedia and Wikibooks, but it would mean copy and pasting all the text about the image too, most of which I don't know anything about in terms of sources and provenance. So, I would be responsible for it all, and should therefore fact-check before uploading again. Just because of someone's personal preference for blurry black-and-white art reproductions? I think I need a better explanation. --Nigelj (talk) 09:45, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
