Colors useless[edit]

The two maps look exactly the same to my eyes and I am not colorblind. TimL (talk) 21:55, 5 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

look at South Africa you will see the differance —Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.175.203.119 (talk) 05:09, 7 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
My impression is it's primarily a comparison of countries—they just do it twice, using two different "versions" of GDP. Even if the maps were exactly the same, the colors still would not be useless.--MilFlyboy (talk) 03:37, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The time dimension[edit]

Heh, there are three different years attached to this data. The filename says 2005, the summary says 2007, and the legend within the image says 2008. I figure this is just due to updates that've been made, but it makes me wonder if some sort of versioning is needed. If it's intended to be updated as years go by, then the filename probably shouldn't contain a specific year. On the other hand, maybe each year should be uploaded as a different file. That would allow use in historical contexts and at least help keep captions accurate in others.--MilFlyboy (talk) 05:32, 24 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
