Contested deletion

A five year old file which is part of an article that has undergone both a thorough GA and brutal FA review should probably not be filed for speedy deletion in the first place; WP:PROD would have been a much more suitable approach if there was legitimate concern. That being said, this request seems unfounded. The file has clearly been tagged with a valid fair-use tag, and its usage in the article is explicit and suitable. I don't see the problem here. This user has also nominated File:Grand Theft Auto V Los Santos.jpg for speedy deletion, so I'm not sure what the reasoning is. Obviously the file doesn't meet fair usage policy! It has written that the image has been taken from a YouTube video, which is a screenshot of the game. But the image is not mainly used to introduce the game, which is against fair usage policy. (The main article has other images, in addition a poster photo is enough to illustrate the issue in this case.) --Freshman404Talk 09:09, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Freshman404: I'm not sure what you mean by "the image is not mainly used to introduce the game"—are you able to provide a specific guideline or policy for this? Per WP:NFC#CS, non-free content can be used to "identify an object, style, or behaviour, that is a subject of discussion in the article"—in this case, the subject of discussion is the gameplay itself (and in the second image, the game's draw distance and Los Angeles influence). I also suggest you check out WPVG's Manual of Style because, according to your argument, every other video game article should not feature gameplay screenshots, correct? – Rhain 09:21, 26 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
