Scale[edit]

I think some indications as to what is the scale of his picture could help: looked at quickly, it might as well be a giant lake as a penny-sized blob (particularily in the size it is shown in articles).

A vague indication as to what kind of road is on the bottom left would be enough: pedestrian? one lane and one-way? two-way?

A close look at the biggest size of the picture leads me to think those are people walking, making the spring a few hundreds meters long, but many might first think these are cars (as I did and still doubt) and evaluate the spring as three to five times larger.

Since I'm not sure myself, I won't make any change. If someone knows it might help to change this. 24.200.59.201 (talk) 06:09, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's definitely a pedestrian path; you can see people walking directly to the right of the spring. Also, Grand Prismatic Spring indicates it is about 90m wide. howcheng {chat} 15:59, 15 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, the scale really threw me off at first. You're right - it does look like pedestrians walking across Ucla1989 (talk) 03:43, 4 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
