2 tables for the 2 Mesa (= "table" in spanish) brothers[edit]
being knighted. Thanks a lot for this beautiful image. If the choice as heraldic symbols of 2 trestle tables is obvious, the round breads are more puzzling to me : do they refer to the brothers' ancestors having been land-tillers (& wheat croppers), or bakers ? Or is it because bread is both the more common and noble meal to be put on a table ?...Any idea about it ? T.y. Arapaima (talk) 07:49, 13 January 2011 (UTC)
