- The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of a fair use image as a replaceable image. Please do not modify it.
The result was to delete the image. The article is about the Android, and a freely licensed image of it is easily creatable. — ξxplicit 01:40, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

This is the official photograph of the HTC Evo Design 4G cell phone described in the article. There is no other, and any other that could be created in the future would carry a similar copyright. — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 19:36, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- What "similar copyright" are you referring to? Are you sure you've got it mixed up with a design patent (which is outside of our policy's scope)? NFCC 1 says that we can't use a non-free image "where [a] free equivalent is available, or [can] be created." This product was publicly released, that means images of it can be obtained by a contributor who owns it. ViperSnake151 Talk 22:30, 9 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Any other photo with the same information on-screen would have the same underlying copyright issues for the look and feel of that information. Any other photo with nothing on-screen would not be true to the article, and would be rather boring. — Jeff G. ツ (talk) 20:06, 12 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
